We’re throwing our big 100 Years of Bricks & Books gala this Saturday evening, and WNEP stopped by to find out more about it. The original library building at the corner of Third and West Market Streets opened its doors to the public on May 1, 1922, and is one of the few old buildings in Pottsville that is still being used for its original purpose and by its original occupant. With catered food and live musicians, we’ll be celebrating the importance of this building in the Pottsville community both in the past and for the future.
