The POWER Library collection gives you access to thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, and eBooks, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You will find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.

And now the POWER Library has added an enhanced collection of eBooks in the subject areas of digital literacy, computer technology, computer programming, careers in technology, networking, data, cloud computing, advanced software, information literacy, and so much more.
Gale E-books has 66 new titles targeted for elementary through high school students to help learn computer safety, privacy, and media and information literacy.
EBSCO E-books has almost 900 new titles that support learners of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced in all areas of technology, including hardware and software basics to more advanced technology books.

Find newspaper articles from the last 20 years with these resources from NewsBank! You can go directly to issues from the Pottsville Republican Herald, or use “America’s News” to find articles from newspapers in Philadelphia, Allentown, Harrisburg, Reading, or the rest of the country. Enter your Pottsville Library card number without the “pfpl” prefix if prompted. (Example: 20003000123456)
