Get ready for our 7th Annual Putting Fore Pottsville Library! What is it, you ask? A full mini golf course throughout the Library! That’s right: at least 18 holes of mini golf going through the stacks, down the stairs and through the rooms. Every year we come up with different ideas for the holes and the course. Ticket prices include age-appropriate food and drinks at the last hole.
On our adults only night you will enjoy a full round of mini golf, catered food and adult beverages, all included in your ticket price. There will be an optional cornhole tournament on the second floor, available at an extra cost. This event is 21 & over.
Adults only event will be held Friday, February 27th, 2026 from 6-9PM. $35 per person. Prepaid reservations available at the Library, or online on our Facebook event page. Get your tickets early, as this has become a popular event!
On Saturday, it’s family friendly for all ages. Scout troops, multigenerational families, and adults are all welcome on the course from 10 AM – 3 PM. This is a great activity for a Saturday, especially if the weather is too cold or miserable to be outside.
Interested in sponsoring a hole? Contact the Library Director, Jean Towle, at 570-622-8880 x20 to inquire about available options! Sponsors can provide decorations for the hole they sponsor, or let the Library staff come up with ideas.
There is also a gift basket raffle, with tickets available to purchase at the Circulation Desk once the baskets are set up. Interested in donating for the raffle? You can contact Gina, Circulation Supervisor, at 570-622-8880 x18 about bringing something in. Gift cards, items for baskets, or golf-related items are all popular during this event.
Proceeds from mini golf support the Pottsville Library programs and services.
