Just a reminder that the Pottsville Free Public Library will be closing at 5 PM on Wed., Nov. 26, and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving Day. We will be open normal hours on Friday and Saturday, 8:30-5, and we will be ready to kick off the holiday season!
Visit us on Saturday for our Small Business Saturday event which includes the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale. Support local artists, authors, craftspeople, vendors & small businesses during our holiday shopping market, or just walk around the building to view the decorating done by the Library staff. The historic Library building will be filled with holiday cheer & items to get your holiday shopping done.
Small Business Saturday also marks the beginning of the 2025 Pottsville Elf Hunt! The Pottsville Free Public Library will have copies of the “hunt form” available for “Elf Hunters” to pick up, or you can print a copy from the Facebook event page.
