Did you know that the Pottsville Library has programs just for teens and tweens? In addition to special programs, there are two groups that meet every month and give kids ages 10-18 something positive to do after school. Both of these groups require registration, which can be done in person or by email (potchild @ pottsvillelibrary.org).
The Teen Book Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4 PM. Recommended for ages 10-16, this book club provides a safe space for teens and tweens to read together and discuss what they like about what they’ve read.
The Teen Advisory Board, recommended for students ages 12-18, gives them a chance to provide input on materials to be purchased for the Pottsville Library. Have ideas for programs you’d like to see? Know of a resource that would help others? Join the TAB and make your voice heard! The TAB also meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 5:30 PM.
