‘Tis the season for festive holiday decorations, and stocking up on snacks for your holiday parties and gatherings! There are two great ways to do both while supporting the Pottsville Free Public Library and local businesses. All orders may be placed at the Circulation Desk at the Library, or by calling us at 570-622-8880 x10 (be aware that credit card orders include a convenience fee).
The Friends of the Pottsville Library are holding a new fundraiser this month: Sweet G’s Bakery pretzels and kettle corn! Choose from 8 flavors of pretzels or 2 flavors of kettle corn. All varieties are $7.50 a bag, and proceeds benefit the Friends of the Pottsville Library. The Friends group supports many of the programs at the Library throughout the year, as well as purchasing equipment for staff and the public to use. Prepaid orders are due by Nov. 30th, and orders can be picked up Dec. 16th. Order several for your family and friends to munch on at holiday gatherings, or as gifts for coworkers.
We are also pleased to be offering poinsettias and wreaths again from Lessie’s Garden Greenhouse and Gift Shop. Choose from 6″ or 10″ poinsettias ($14 or $30), or a fresh 22″ wreath ($25). Prepaid orders are due by Nov. 21st and can be picked up after noon on Dec. 9th.
