On Tuesday, October 21, there will be a Children’s Halloween Party for kids ages 3-11 years. Wear a costume, dance to spooky tunes, make crafts: it’s time to have a monster party! The fun starts at 5:30 PM. Register in advance by contacting the Youth Services Department at 570-622-8880 x12, email them at potchild @ pottsvillelibrary.org, or stop by the Library to talk to them in person.
On Wednesday, October 22, it’s Friends Helping Friends shopping day at the Fairlane Village Boscov’s! Pick up your saving certificate for $5 at the Pottsville Library’s Circulation Desk; the Library gets 100% of the proceeds from your purchase, and you can use the certificate throughout the store that day. Boscov’s always has special deals during the event so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping without breaking your wallet. Sweet!
