The Pottsville Free Public Library will be offering more free computer classes this Spring, including a new class. On Feb. 11th from 5-7 PM, bring in your own Windows laptop or Chromebook for help, or learn something new using the library’s computer lab. One-on-one tutoring will be available for at least 15 minutes per person who attends. Mar. 11th at 5:30 PM is the next Computer Basics class, covering what you see on the computer desktop and how to do certain basic things on the computer. Mar. 26th at 5:30 PM will be Internet Basics, where we talk about how to do a better search and some things to be cautious of online. Windows Next Steps will be on Apr. 9th at 5:30 PM, where we go beyond basics and talk about personalizing your computer. Then on Apr. 22nd at 5:30 PM we will offer Microsoft Word Basics by popular demand.
Sign up for any of these sessions at the Circulation Desk, in person or by calling the Library at 570-622-8880. The classes are single-session and are free to anyone who lives in Schuylkill County, no Pottsville Library card required. But space is limited so sign up now. Know someone who would benefit from these sessions? Be sure to let them know!
