Youth Programs
The Youth Services Department offers both regular weekly programs and occasional events for kids of all ages. All programs require advance registration by calling the department at 570-622-8880 ext. 12, by email at potchild@pottsvillelibrary.org, or by filling out the registration form at the bottom of this page. Most programs are free and all are welcome!
Weekly Programs

Story Time
Where: At the library
Age: Ages 12 months – 5 years
Dates: Feb. 9 – May 11
Time: Mon. 10:30AM – 11:30AM
Come for songs, a story, crafts and play. Older and younger siblings are always welcome.

Girls Who Code
Where: At the library
Age: 8 – 12 years
Dates: Jan. 21 – Mar. 25
Time: Wed. 4:30PM – 5:30PM
Come and learn coding using the Girls Who Code curriculum. Program is open to both girls and boys.

Lego Club
Where: At the library
Age: 6 – 12 years
Dates: Jan. 13 – Mar. 17
Time: Tues 4:00PM – 5:30PM
Want to get into D&D but been too intimidated by the numbers, join us for weekly one offs of D&D and other TTRPG rulesets.

Creation Station
Where: At the library
Age: 1 – 12 years
Dates: Mondays – Friday
Time: all day
The “Creation” changes every week! Art supplies will be provided to participants.

Teen Book Club & Teen Advisory Board
Where: At the library
Age: 12 – 18 years
Dates: Third Thursday of every month 1/15, 2/19, 3/19, 4/16, 5/21
Time: Book Club 4:30PM; Teen Advisory Board 5:30PM
Explore recreational reading with your peers as well as having a say in what the youth services department acquires for books, video games and DVDs as well as what we offer for programs.
