How Do I Join The Library?

STEP ONE

You will need identification showing a current address.

Any Schuylkill County resident may obtain a borrower’s card by visiting the library and showing identification with a current address. A parent’s or legal guardian’s signature is required for children under 16 years of age. Borrower’s cards are valid for 3 years.

What If I Don't Live In Schuylkill County?

Non-residents may obtain a borrower’s card by either showing a valid Access PA card from another library or by paying a non-resident fee of $20.00 a year.  A short-term non-resident card is also available at $5.00 for one month.

I Am Unable To Physically Be At the Library. Can I Still Get A Card?

Absolutely! Any physically disabled resident who is unable to come into the library to register may register by contacting the circulation supervisor at (570) 622-8880 x18 or emailing the circulation department at potcirc@pottsvillelibrary.org.

I Lost My Card. What Should I do Now?

Lost or stolen cards and change of name or address should be reported immediately to the circulation desk.
