Youth Programs
The Youth Services Department offers both regular weekly programs and occasional events for kids of all ages. All programs require advance registration by calling the department at 570-622-8880 ext. 12, by email at potchild@pottsvillelibrary.org, or by filling out the registration form at the bottom of this page. Most programs are free and all are welcome!

Story Time
Where: At the library
Age: Ages 12 months – 5 years
Dates: Sept. 14 – Dec. 9
Time: Mon. 10:30AM – 11:30AM and Wednesday 5:30PM – 6:30PM
Come for songs, a story, crafts and play. Older and younger siblings are always welcome.
Themed Saturdays
Where: At the library
Age: 3 – 15 years
Dates: Saturday 9/19, 10/31, 11/7, 12/5
Time: 9/19 and 10/31: 10:00AM – 4:00PM, 11/7: 10:00AM – 2:00 PM, and 12/5: 2:00PM – 4:00PM
Join us for themed Saturdays throughout the fall with crafts and activities. September 19th talk like a pirate day, October 31st all things spooky, November 7th games and gaming and December 5th Gingerbread.
3-D Printing for Kids
Where: At the library
Age: 8 – 18 years
Date: 10/13
Time: 5:00PM
Experiment with designing and printing 3-D objects using the library’s 3-D printer.
Teen Time
Where: At the library
Age: 12 – 18 years
Dates: Third Thursday of every month 9/17, 10/15, 11/19, 12/17
Time: 4:30PM
Various activities for teens ages 12-18.
Kids Time
Where: At the library
Age: 6 – 12 years
Dates: Second Thursday of every month 9/10, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10
Time: 4:30PM
Various activities for kids ages 6-12.
