SUMMARY:6th Annual Art as Healing Art Show
DESCRIPTION:Schuylkill Hope Center for Victims of Domestic Violence & Pottsville Free Public Library present the 6th Annual Art as Healing Art Show. Artwork will be on display at the Pottsville Library from Monday\, March 6 through Saturday\, March 11\, 2023\, and will be available to view during regular Library hours that week. \nAll of the art in the exhibit was created by survivors working with Schuylkill Hope Center. These artists are from throughout Schuylkill County and use art as a means of empowerment through the healing process. \nThe display’s main goal is to encourage survivors to express themselves artistically\, as well as inspire thought. \nA representative from Schuylkill Hope Center will be at the Pottsville Library on Wednesday\, March 8th from 10 AM – 2 PM to provide information regarding services offered by the agency\, discuss available volunteer opportunities with the Center\, and to answer any questions anyone may have about the Art as Healing display. \nFor more information\, contact SHC at 570-622-3991 or visit their website at schopecenter.org.
