DESCRIPTION:Do you have questions about something on your Windows laptop or Chromebook? Have you been trying to learn something basic about using a PC but you don’t want to take a whole class for it? Come in to the Pottsville Library between 5 and 7 PM on Tuesday\, February 11 for our first “drop-in” computer session. We will try to spend at least 15 minutes with each person who attends the session. \nYou can also call us at 570-622-8880 and make an appointment for assistance with your Android\, Apple\, or Windows device.

DESCRIPTION:You know the basics of using a computer. Now it’s time to learn how to personalize your computer and make it more useful! In this FREE computer course\, we will cover learning more about what kind of system you have\, how to install a new application\, how to add shortcuts to your computer’s desktop\, how to change some of the defaults and settings\, how to uninstall an application you don’t want\, and some safety tips. The one-hour course is a mix of demonstrations and practice time\, and is open to all residents of Schuylkill County and the Pottsville Library District. Call the front desk at 570-622-8880 to sign up; seating is limited due to the small computer lab.
