SUMMARY:2026 Pottsville Elf Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Pottsville Free Public Library and the Pottsville Business Association are pleased to announce the dates for the 2026 Pottsville Elf Hunt!\n\nThis year’s Pottsville Elf Hunt will begin on Small Business Saturday\, Nov. 28 at 9 AM\, and go until 5 PM on Saturday\, Dec. 12. All entries for the scavenger hunt must be turned in to the Pottsville Library by 5 PM on Dec. 12 to be eligible for the prize drawing. The Elf Hunt is fun for both families and small groups\, is geared to participants of all ages\, and is spread out over 2 weeks so everyone has time to complete the hunt.\n\nThe “Elf Hunt Form” will be posted on the event page on Saturday\, Nov. 28\, as well as available to pick up at participating businesses beginning on Nov. 28.\n\n“Elf Hunters” will need to visit as many of the “Elf Stops” as they can in order to qualify for the prize drawing\, which will take placeon Monday\, Dec. 14\, at the Pottsville Library. The Library will contact all prize winners after the drawing.\n\nPrizes are donated by businesses taking part in the Elf Hunt.

SUMMARY:Open Arcade
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Pottsville Free Public Library on select Saturdays from 9 am till noon for Open Arcade. We have arcade sized basketball\, foosball\, pool and shuffleboard. Also come by to try out our in house us items from the Schuylkill Sensory Lending Library: a mini trampoline\, a saucer swing\, a rocking chair and a crash mat. Please note that a signed waiver of liability is needed for the use of the sensory library items\, for those under 18 a parent/guardian is needed to sign for them. The dates for the fall are 8/29\, 10/3\, 10/17\, 10/24\, 10/31\, 12/5\, 12/19.
