Program will be on Thursday\, October 22nd\, at 5:30PM. \nGhosts of the Molly Maguires is a 75-minute program that uncovers the dark and disputed legacy of the Molly Maguires in Pennsylvania’s Anthracite Coal Region. Through gripping storytelling\, audiences will hear tales of murders\, secret meetings\, and the mysteries that surrounded the group’s activities during the turbulent coal wars of the 19th century. \nThe program explores the bitter labor conflicts\, controversial trials\, and executions that continue to divide historians\, while also delving into lingering legends and reported hauntings tied to former mining towns and historic sites. Blending documented history with chilling folklore\, Ghosts of the Molly Maguires brings to life a shadowed chapter filled with violence\, intrigue\, and unanswered questions that still echo today.
