SUMMARY:2026 Library Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another year of a district wide scavenger hunt. The 2026 PA One Book: “The Great Cookie Kerfuffle” has been hidden at all the libraries in the Pottsville District. Help us locate them all. Go to your local library between April 20th and May 22nd to start and grab a brochure\, which will tell you all the district libraries and give a space to write down where you found the book. Be sure to return the brochure by May 22nd to be entered for a chance to win various prizes. 2 winners will be drawn for visiting at least 5 libraries ($15 Dunkin gift card)\, 2 winners for visiting at least 10 libraries ($25 Amazon gift card) and one winner drawn for visiting all 17 libraries ($50 ticket book for Knoebels). Prizes will be drawn on May 28th and winners will be contacted directly.

DESCRIPTION:Interested in learning to sew\, but you need some extra help to get started? \nChoose from one of our 3 classes to make a beginner friendly project with complete instructions and hands on help! \nIf you have your own sewing machine\, please bring it so we can teach you to use your own machine. No machine? No problem! We will provide one for anyone who needs one. \nClass is limited to 6 students. Recommended for ages 16 & up. Cost is $25 per person\, per class. \nClass dates: Saturday\, May 16th\, Saturday\, May 23rd and Saturday\, May 30th. Class runs from 10:00 AM to noon.
