The Pottsville Free Public Library provides outreach services to the following locations:
  • Rest Haven
  • Manor Care
  • Luther Ridge at Seider's Hill
  • Schuylkill Center
  • York Terrace Nursing Home
  • Providence Place
    • Patrons and residents of these sites are encouraged to borrow materials from the Pottsville Free Public Library such as large print books, books-on-tape, and any other materials of interest to them. Delivery to these sites is done twice a month.

     DISTRICT SERVICES

     The Pottsville Free Public Library serves as the District Center for the 14 public libraries in Schuylkill County and 3 public libraries in Northumberland County. We provide rotating collections of large print books, books-on-tape/CD and videos/DVDs to each of the libraries. We also provide interlibrary loan and reference service as well as professional assistance. Materials are distributed to the local libraries through a delivery service established by the Pottsville Free Public Library.

     Delivery is made to the following libraries on Tuesdays:
