POWER Library
To enter the POWER Library, click on the picture or link above. You will need to have your Pottsville Library card handy to type in your card number. If you do not have a Pottsville Library card, you can come in to the library to get one. For more information on getting a library card, go to our "Getting a Library Card" page.
The Pennsylvania Online World Electronic Resources (POWER) Library, an initiative of Governor Tom Ridge's administration with the support of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, is offered as a service of Pennsylvania's public libraries, school libraries and the State Library. The POWER Library allows you to access thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You'll find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.
