Online Resources at the Pottsville Library

AtoZ The USA -- information on all 50 states plus five U.S. territories and the District of Columbia, available free to library patrons through our website. Find out about state foods, view current and historical maps, and much more. Perfect for homework assignments!

Infobase Ebooks -- Use your library card to access these reference books from home! Subjects include U.S. and world history, science experiments, geography, and health. (Note that these are not downloadable ebooks; you must maintain an Internet connection with this site in order to use the material.)

 Britannica eBooks - Button Britannica Ebooks -- Subjects include ancient civilizations, energy/fuels, and the human body/health. 

Free Library of Philadelphia Free Library of Philadelphia -- Register as an Access Pennsylvania user and get a library card for the Free Library online. They will mail out your new library card, and then you can download ebooks from Philadelphia. 

Free Ebooks -- Sources for free ebooks for everyone, as well as a list of Schuylkill County libraries that offer ebooks to their library cardholders. Additional sources for free and for-purchase ebooks are also listed from the Library's Subject Guide page

Statewide Virtual Reference Service   -- Librarians available 24 hours a day to answer your questions.

  POWER Library -- Many different resources for everyone from elementary school students to adults.
