Children 18 months thru 3 years are welcome to come sing and play with
us! We read, sing, and do a simple
craft for 30 minutes then they get out toys! Please

Mondays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. 1/18-5/10
Come help us celebrate children and books as we read stories, sing songs, watch movies, and do fun crafts with a different theme each week! Storytime is for children 3-5 years old, older siblings are welcome. Please register. Call us at 622-8880.

Night featuring Nintendo Wii

Come
join us for Nintendo Wii and classic board games. Ages 8 and up.

Join Janine Choplick and a couple of furry
friends to learn all about what the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals does, volunteering opportunities, and finding the right pet to adopt.

African-American Read-in Chain
The MLK Family Enrichment Center brings to you
students from Penn State for an evening of reading and celebrating books by
African-American authors in honor of Black History month.

National Library Week Book Hunt
Wednesday, April 14th 4-7 p.m.
The
2010 NLW theme is “Communities thrive @ your library.” Find some of the
books we have about different communities here in the Children’s Department
and win a prize.
Children's Book Week Story Starters
May 11th-17th
Stop in and write a short story started just for
you by your favorite authors (including Jon Scieszka, Eoin Colfer, Barbara Park,
and Lemony Snicket).
Your story will be added to the Children’s Department collection!

6th Graders and up are invited to join us for this
once-a-month book club. Meet with
other book lovers as we eat good snacks and talk about good books!
