The program encourages family-togetherness and stresses the importance of play to a child's development. Children are able to play with a room full of age-appropriate toys which stimulate motor skills and encourage socialization with other children. Parents are given access to community resources who can answer questions regarding behavior problems, nutrition and various other parenting concerns. Please call for more information.

Computer Assistance

Need a computer to finish your homework or just feel like surfing the web? Then come to the library! We have 8 computers available for use in the Children's Department and the Children's Librarian is happy to provide computer assistance. Computers may be used for one hour. Time can be extended if there is no one else waiting for a turn. Preschool children need to have an adult or caregiver with them to use a computer.
